KMBC Cares for Kids and Giving the Basics are teaming up for a Spring Hygiene Drive. The goal is to raise enough money for basic hygiene items – soap, deodorant, laundry detergent for 1,000 children in our community. A $20 donation will provide basic items for one student for a month and $240 for an entire year.

With your help, Giving the Basics provides the necessities of life, not covered by government assistance programs, that most people take for granted. Hygiene products help students avoid being rejected or bullied and it allows them to be able to come to school with their heads held high; better prepared to learn.
